Title: Teamcenter
Consultant/ PLM Systems Support Analyst
Livermore CA/ On-Site
Job Description: The Teamcenter Consultant will be responsible for the design, analysis, development, maintenance, and/or support of Teamcenter applications and perform project management activities.
Responsibilities:
- Support the program and delivery
team to understand the project or program requirement and break it down as
per work breakdown structure (WBS) for onsite/near-site execution and
offshore execution, as per skill sets and competency available at
respective locations
- Plan resources at onsite/near-site
locations through discussion with engagement manager and at offshore
through discussion with offshore delivery manager
- Agree to a timeline in
discussion with the customer and prioritize individual tasks to meet those
timelines
- Provide technical and
functional direction to the team
- Interaction with global
customers to understand their requirements
- Participate in the review of
completed tasks and results with customer functional departments and
programs
- Develop competencies at
onsite /offshore locations by continually mentoring the team for near-term,
mid-term, and long-term requirements
- Coordinate to gather data and
inputs from multiple departments, interact with functional teams on the customer side and programs team to obtain their buy-in, and interact with
onsite /offshore teams for project activities
Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience in the PLM
domain on Teamcenter Administration, Installation, Configuration,
Deployment, CAD Integration & customer support
- Very good understanding of
various Teamcenter modules like Product structures (various BOM),
Workflow, Change Management, Variants, BMIDE, Volume Configuration, FMS
- Deep functional knowledge
and technical capabilities in Part Management, BOM Management, Change
Management, Classification, Workflow, Security Knowledge of Performance
Tuning of Teamcenter applications
- Ability to map and align
functional requirements to Teamcenter OOTB applications to provide best-in-class architecture & solution
- Sound knowledge of
Teamcenter Administration, Block point, and Data Migration
- Ability to work in complex
and challenging Teamcenter environments with integrations to enterprise
systems
- Strong ability to
architect solutions in highly complex environments involving global sites
and multiple domains
- Knowledge of PLM testing
requirements
- Project management:
Coordination with customers on project deliverables, leading customer
meetings, project schedule, and running cadence meetings
- Project financial management:
Reporting on various financial characteristics of the project internally,
cost management, project budget, and forecasting
